Every since I was a kid I wanted to travel. I would spend a lot of time in front of my globe and imagine all the far off and exotic places I wanted to visit. I didn't get my first taste of traveling until I was a poor struggling college student and spent a semester at sea. It was an awesome experience. Now, as a business consultant I am always flying from city to city to help companies. I wouldn't call myself rich, but I do well in life. I've tallied tons of frequent flier miles and have flown first class a bunch, but First Class doesn't compare to flying in a private aircraft or flying out of North Bay and landing at North Bay Airport without going through a line. I was introduced to flying private by an executive of a company I have consulted for. He told me about fractional ownership and lease programs that make flying private very affordable. I even used my fractional ownership program to vacation with my wife to Ontario in . You should have seen her face when I surprised her with a vacation! Happy wife happy life.
Travel in and out of is increasingly becoming a hard thing to do. This isnt because its physically or legally difficult. Its because the Ontario area in particular is becoming such a tourist attraction and destination (especially North Bay). So finding flights and bookings through North Bay Airport is growing increasingly difficult as well, to the point that people are looking to chartering a aircraft on their own, albeit on a fractional basis, in order to get to these locations. Often times, when they compare the fractional prices to first class ticket prices, they end up getting a pretty good deal. Of course, many people love to book chartered flights because of the convenience. First and foremost, its about the convenience. Flying commercial is akin to riding the bus for most of these folks, and in many cases, really resembles public infrastructure).
A sumptuous private bath with marble counter-tops, opulent sofas and extensive use of precious metals everywhere; while it sounds like a palace, its actually a peek into the jetting lifestyle of some of the worlds richest private aircraft owners. While many eschew the public and its attendant paparazzi that would gladly put the worse spin possible on their airborne luxury, some of the worlds richest have allowed renowned photographer, Nick Gleis, to capture their high in the sky world of conspicuous consumption. From European royalty, to Arab emirates, Gleis has photographed the jetting elite across the globe. Gleis masterful use of lighting can capture any jet-setter palace with wings, whether parked at a private North Bay Airport or aloft and headed for Ontario, North Bay and make the later viewer of the resulting picture feel as if they too have stepped on board some socialites aircraft
