Dinner in the Great Hall at Hogwarts is a special treat for any Harry Potter fan. This December is the first ever Hogwarts feast. At the time of writing the only dinner is scheduled for December 3, 2015 and it is sold out. You can sign up for updates on the Warner Brothers Studio Tour website. However, based on the level of interest, it is easy to speculate that more dinners will be scheduled soon. The dining hall looks just as you remember it from the movies as it has all the original props used in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone for the feasts at the beginning of the year and Christmas. You will even recognize the entrees of flaming Christmas puddings and the cherry studded hams. The set was also used for scenes like the Sorting Hat Ceremony and when the Durmstrang and Beauxbatons students arrived in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. The dinner will include roast turkey, potatoes, Butterbeer and pumpkin juice. The Great Hall will have all the holiday cheer with Christmas trees. Guests must be 18 years or older and will be seated at tables of 10. After dinner you can continue the tour:
- Explore the Studio Tour, admiring sets such as the Gryffindor common room and the Weasley’s kitchen at The Burrow, which will also be dressed as they were for winter scenes.
- Enjoy a selection of three festive dessert bowls on Platform 9 ¾, alongside the original Hogwarts Express.
- Drink Butterbeer in the backlot café and walk up the wizarding shopping street, Diagon Alley, before taking in the breathtaking Hogwarts castle model (covered in a layer of filmmaking snow especially for the festive season).
- Finish the evening with music and dancing, with a bar provided for those who wish to purchase additional drinks.

The Hogwarts in the Snow Tour is a comprehensive look at the Harry Potter set on Warner Brother’s backlot. This is an amazing and festive time of the year to tour the set, which is transformed into the scenes from Christmas in the Harry Potter movies and books. Hogwarts in the snow runs from November until January 31st. Guests will be able to see 5 iconic Harry Potter movie sets all decked out in Christmas decor including the Great Hall, the Gryffindor common room, Diagon Alley, Professor Dumbledore’s Office, and a model of Hogwarts castle, Some “movie magic” adds quite a lot of snow that never melts. You will certainly be transported to Hogwarts in winter time!
