When acclaimed yacht builder ISA launched the magnificent Papi du Papi superyacht last year, the public was only treated to computer generated images of the interior. And now with the release of some eye grabbing photos, the public is getting to know Papi du Papi a lot better from the inside. Papi du Papi is the second in the ISA 500 series of three 50 meter superyachts, all built with the same engineering platform, but with different transom design and superstructures . The tri-level 164 foot craft is constructed with a steel hull and an aluminum superstructure, and has a range of 4400 nautical miles at a comfortable 11 knots cruising speed . The craft was first introduced at the Monaco Yacht Show in September where she basked in the attention given to the prettiest girl at the show, and now that we can see inside, we know why.
International Shipyards Ancona (ISA) started in 2001 with a meager crew of five and a boatload of big dreams to build luxury yachts with innovation and edge. Their ISA 500 series is based on a 50 meter platform with a three level carriage. Their in-house team of naval architects handled the engineering and the exterior styling was done by noted architect Andrea Vallicelli, who clearly enjoys playing with certain notions and pushing the limits with new ideas. With Papi du Papi, he revived the ISA signature sweeping twin staircases, this time with a twist, as they wrap around a glam beach club nearly at water level at the stern, accessible by curved glass doors. The innovative styling is in keeping with the owner’s desire to make easy water access part of the yachting experience.
Papi du Papi was built for a family based in South America with family travel in mind, and was designed with their input along the way. This is the family’s second vessel with the same name — the last one was a mere 30 meters – hardly enough room to turn around in. The new Papi du Papi offers five en suite guest staterooms and a master suite with a his and hers bathroom, a dressing room, a private lounge, and a study. Four crew cabins are situated on the lower deck with private laundry, and the captain’s cabin is located adjacent to his favorite domain, the wheelhouse..

The main deck is the primary living area where you’ll find the salon, the dining room and the adjoining gourmet galley which is equipped with commercial grade stainless steel appliances. A long hallway leads to the master suite situated toward the bow. The bridge level harbors the sky lounge with a 103-inch TV and a custom configured sound system with Bowers & Wilkins speakers. State of the art technology is incorporated throughout the yacht with private guest iPad controls for air conditioning, curtains, lights, and the entertainment systems.

The new release of the interior photos validates the rumors that the design was jaw droppingly luxurious. Highly regarded yacht interior designer Francesco Paszlowski has signed the project and his stamp is apparent. Interiors are rich in mid-tones featuring Brazilian rosewood floors, oak walls, copious amounts of Jerusalem stone with leather, linen, wool and cotton finishes in taupes and creams. The owner’s desire was to invoke European styling with a South American influence and it works. The generously sized windows allow plenty of light inside and present an elegant and welcoming picture, yet one that remains comfortable and livable for a family.
