Cessna Aircraft Company is nearing delivery of its 300th Citation Mustang.
“The Citation Mustang order book has remained fairly resilient during the past year,” said Roger Whyte, senior vice president, sales and marketing. “It has found success in air taxi and charter operations, in flight departments, in training organizations, as well as with owner-operators.”
The existing fleet of more than 280 Mustangs has amassed more than 55,000 flight hours since the first delivery in early 2007. Cessna will deliver its 300th Mustang in early 2010.
Priced in at under $3 million (2009 delivery), the Mustang features Garmin avionics, Pratt & Whitney Canada engines and boasts a 1,200-nautical mile range.
