Much attention is often focused on the Middle East’s larger airports, including those at Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Jeddah, Riyadh, Islamabad, Doha and Bahrai. But the region’s second-tier airports are becoming increasingly important, especially as Middle East second-tier carriers expand operations. These carriers are reshaping competition in and beyond the region and are being reshaped themselves by dynamic change in the region.
