Industry applauds ICAO for taking on climate change; no change to European plans on trading scheme
After several years recommending that the International Civil Aviation Organisation be the centre point of aviation’s climate change policy, airlines around the world got their way during the 37th ICAO Assembly when they adopted a comprehensive resolution to reduce the impact of aviation emission. The organisation called the agreement a “roadmap for action through 2050”.
