Government intervenes in debate on airline prices; but no intention to regulate ticket prices
The Indian Government this month has mounted pressure on airlines to reduce fares and publicly make them available on a sector-by-sector basis after fares rocketed after Diwali, especially for last-minute or spot tickets.
