Jet Airways reports fifth consecutive quarter of profitability; gains on strong Indian travel demand
Jet Airways, India’s largest private carrier and largest domestic airline, posted a lower-than-expected 11.7% increase in third-quarter after tax profit as rising incomes in the world’s second-fastest growing major economy spurred increased travel demand. The third quarter is typically the strongest quarter for the industry in India.
