AirAsia plans for large A320neo order; expects long-term benefit from A320 delivery deferment

AirAsia CEO Tony Fernandes stated the carrier is “actively discussing” plans to acquire 175 A320neo aircraft as it expands its short-haul ASEAN network. “We like the product and we'd like to order lots more because there's plenty of growth in our region,” Mr Fernandes stated.
