OMA traffic down in all areas
Mexican airport operator OMA reported its Mar-2011 traffic fell in all areas, down 7.2% overall. International traffic dropped 16.5% year-on-year, while domestic traffic was down 4.7%, falling at nine of OMA’s 13 airports. The Easter holiday travel period occurred in March in 2010 and will take place in April this year, affecting year-on-year comparisons. OMA shares traded steadily on Friday, down just 0.1%.
