I often use my home airport as a model for the general aviation market as a whole. It doesn't exist in a vacuum, after all. Like your airport, mine is an excellent incubator for new ideas, and a proving ground that illustrates what the results might be if the facilities are unmanaged, mismanaged, or enthusiastically embraced as a vital part of the city's economic engine.
