Catherine (Kate) Lang, acting associate administrator for the FAA Office of Airports, will be honored by the Aviation Institute of the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) Monday, Nov. 9, when she receives the William F. Shea Award for her contributions to aviation. Lang also will present the 2009 Charles W. Durham Distinguished Guest Lecture.
