I wonder if Franklin Graham, son of legendary evangelist Billy Graham, might be a potential advocate for general aviation? Where's this coming from? Well, in Tuesday's mail was a donation plea from Samaritan's Purse, the Christian-based international relief organization led by Franklin. What immediately caught my eye was the image at the top the enclosed letter (see below) taken from inside a DC-3 looking out an open cargo door. Above and below the wing is a compelling quote. It reads, "Many of the refugees were accustomed to running for cover at the sound of aircraft, fearful that they were going to bombed again... but today was different.
