Paris trailing Heathrow and Frankfurt recovery. 2009 traffic still well below 2007 levels
Dec-2009 traffic results at the three major European airports - London Heathrow, Paris Charles De Gaulle (CDG) and Frankfurt International – indicate a gradual stabilisation in passenger traffic. However, there are still challenging times ahead in 2010, with full year data showing traffic is still below 2007 levels. The airports reported a combined contraction from 182.0 million passengers in 2007 and 181.3 million in 2008 to 174.7 million in 2009.
